Star Trek Legacy is a script based virtual series. It is envisioned as if it was an actual TV series with seasons, arc stories and etc. Episodes are released as scripts which average around 63 pages each. Just like a proper episode on TV, each script should take around 45 minutes to read. Episodes are free to download, however you will need to download Adobe Reader to view the scripts. Episodes are released every two weeks on a Monday between 6 and 7pm GMT.
Star Trek Legacy was conceived in early 2006 by Aaron Percival. It was later pitched to Trek Online in June 2006 where the show has been in production since. Star Trek Legacy is a multi-authored series which brings together some of the best Star Trek writers to give you exciting episodes which chronicle the adventures of the Enterprise-B.
Legacy was concieved as continuation of Star Trek Generations and to finish what the opening scenes showed us. The first season of Star Trek Legacy is about the first year of Enterprise-B's missions. It will bridge the gaps between the The Original Series, the movies and The Next Generation, bringing back familar races and places from the earlier series' and showing how they evolved into what we saw in The Next Generation.
The first season is set to debut in Feburary 2007 with four short prequel episodes. 20 full length episodes will follow after.
